My name is Zukhanye Nqambi, and I am a 16-year-old learner at Hudson Park High School in East London, South Africa.
I have recently been honoured with an incredible opportunity: I have been officially selected to participate in an international rugby tour to Ireland in December 2026.
Rugby has been one of the most important parts of my life. It has taught me discipline, teamwork, resilience, and the value of hard work. Being selected for this tour is the culmination of years of dedication, training, and commitment to the sport I love.
This tour is much more than a sporting trip. It is an opportunity to compete against international teams, experience a different culture, build lifelong memories, and represent my school, community, and South Africa with pride.
To participate, I need to raise R80,000, which will cover travel, accommodation, meals, and other tour-related expenses. An initial payment of R10,000 was required by the end of March 2026 to secure my place on the tour and it has already raised and paid to the organisors.
